Refund and return policy
This page summarizes cancellation, refund, and no-show conditions according to the document provided by HM Riders.
Important note
If the case falls under no-show conditions, no refund is issued. The document also clarifies that payment gateway fees may be deducted from web refunds.
When a refund applies
If you cancel your reservation at least 48 hours before the rental start date, the full amount paid will be refunded, minus payment gateway fees if the payment was made online.
If you cancel your reservation less than 48 hours and up to 24 hours before the start date, the amount paid will be refunded minus the equivalent of 1 rental day.
If you cancel your reservation on the same day as vehicle pickup, no refund will be issued.
No-show
In the following cases, the document expressly states that no refund will be issued:
You want to cancel the reservation but do not inform us before the rental start date.
You do not pick up the vehicle at the agreed date and time.
You cannot provide the documents required by the rental company to pick up the vehicle.
You do not have a credit card with sufficient funds in the main driver's name.
